After establishing links with university and college establishments across the Uinted States of America and Great Britain we have secured a very good reputation among college coaches in the US. It has become clear to us that despite many companies offering students the opportunity to send their details away to appropriate coaching staff, no group was able to offer players and coaches the opportunity to see each other in person, in order to assess suitability. Not just in the highest division but also in the other divisions (NAIA, DIV II and DIV III).


If you're interested in playing soccer and studying in the USA you will be required to complete one of our pre-trial assessment events. We do not just take any player. Only players that we consider suitable to play at the standard required will be offered the chance to travel stateside and compete in a trial event. If you want to know what your chances are in getting a soccer scholarship please complete the attached form and e-mail to scholarships@sportsmadUSA.com. You will receive details by e-mail inviting you to a Northern Area, Midlands Area or Southern Area pre-trial assessment event within a week. These events will include a series of tests, small-sided competitive situations and large-scale competitive situations. The event itself will require a cost of £15, for this you will receive two high-quality cotton trial T-shirts, a player profile (see attached example), a player heart-rate profile, a player photo-graph and a definitive decision on your suitability to access the scholarship trial events.


Each successful player will receive an invitation to our scholarship trial tour based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Coaching staff in Ohio, New York and other US States will be mailed a glossy brochure detailing information about technical, physical, mental, academic and social attributes of the players, allowing them to prioritise which athletes they would like to view during training and competitive action in the US. The tour will involve visiting a range of different college facilities in Ohio or New York. We will embark on a grueling programme of training, assessment and competitive matches. Guest coaches from Universities across the USA will be invited to lead training sessions. All Final Showcases will be attended by College coaches. The key difference between sportsmadUSA and other groups offering athletic scholarships is that we take you to the team…to the facilities, the coaches, the teams…we don’t just send your details because it is much more useful for a coach to see a player and work with him than simply to look at a written assessment.
